Do you know how deep a mortise must be to accommodate this split anchor? I am considering using it to attach a heavy bed post to the headboard ... which is 1.8 inches thick, and I would need to know depth requirments or a dimension sketch of the connector.
The depth of the mortise is 25mm, or 1-inch.
