Position Summary

Sales and Customer Service go hand-in-hand. This is the foundation that the Tool Nut was built and continues to grow upon. You are the frontline communicator between our customers and our company. You will answer calls and emails, listen to the customers wants/needs and rely on your expertise to guide them.

Responsibilities

  • Assist potential and current customers with their questions, comments or concerns through various communication methods.
  • Professionally engage and interact with customers and vendors, presenting a friendly demeanor and a willingness to serve.
  • Help Customers with placing orders online as well as taking orders over the phone.
  • Following up with customers after-sale to ensure 100% satisfaction with purchase.
  • Check on delayed orders with our vendors, then promptly communicate any delays to the customer.
  • Provide background and knowledge to our customers for well informed purchases.

Requirements

  • Work Independently and as part of a team
  • Tech savvy people person
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate through multiple channels (Phone, Email, Text); sometimes simultaneously.
  • Must be able to remain calm, pleasant and poised in high-pressure situations.
  • Contracting/Building Experience a plus!

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Typing skills (40 wpm)
  • Spreadsheet & Reporting Formats Skills
